Stallholders wanted for popular twilight market

08 October 2013

Local artisans are invited to lodge an expression of interest to host a stall at Cobb+Co Museum’s annual twilight market, Hand Made Under the Stars.

The market, which will be held on Thursday 5 December from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, is a great opportunity for artisans to promote and sell their quality hand made products to an audience who are looking for unique pieces.

Museum Director Deborah Bailey said the Hand Made Under the Stars market attracts more than 700 shoppers who are there for the ultimate Christmas shopping experience, purchasing quality gifts while enjoying fine food, wine and music.

“Products can be anything from silk art and jewellery to wood sculptures and gourmet food - the essential criteria is that they are hand made and high quality,” Ms Bailey said.

The cost of a stall is only $50. If you would like to be a stallholder, please complete an expression of interest form, available from Cobb+Co Museum or download one from, and return it by Monday 28 October 2013.

Cobb+Co Museum is part of the Queensland Museum Network.  Located in Lindsay Street, Toowoomba it is open daily from 10am – 4pm, except Good Friday, ANZAC Day and Christmas Day.  Thanks to Toowoomba Regional Council, entry is free to all council residents on presentation of proof of address.
