Create your own twelve spoke wagon wheel in a workshop at Cobb+Co Museum

Learn how to make each element of a wheel, including a spoke, a felloe and the hub, then assemble a full wheel from a hand made kit provided by wheelwright Kerry Riehl.

Meet your tutor

Wheelwright Kerry Riehl (pictured) is a joiner by trade. He has been making and repairing wooden wheels for over 30 years, starting with his grandparents' old carts and drays. Kerry is passionate about passing on the skills of wheelwrighting, and is a regular demonstrator at Cobb+Co Museum's annual Have A Go! Festival.
