Blacksmithing Advanced

Stoke the fire and man the barbeque with tools you have forged yourself.

Prerequisite: Blacksmithing Beginners
Cost: $255 + $125 Materials (Total $380 incl. GST) includes expert instruction, all materials, morning and afternoon tea and lunch.
Age:16 years and over

Move to the next level and learn scroll work and make a decorative fire poke and rake or barbeque tools.

After completing the Blacksmithing Workshop – Advanced, you are eligible to attend the Blacksmithing Project Workshops which range from a candelabra and book stand to a mirror and Damascus knife.


Blacksmithing workshops at Cobb+Co Museum are conducted by former Australian Champion blacksmith and farrier, Terry Drennan (36 KB) pdf document icon.  Terry has nearly 40 years experience and has been teaching blacksmithng at Cobb+Co Museum for 15 years.
