Resin Jewellery Teen Workshop

Create unique resin jewellery pieces in this three hour workshop designed for teens


Venue: Cobb+Co Museum
Date: Monday 3 April 2017
Time: 9am - 12pm or 1pm - 4pm (morning workshop must be filled before afternoon bookings taken) 
Cost: $85 (includes all materials and tuition)
Ages: 13-17
Requirements: Please wear closed in shoes, long trousers and long sleeves

On the day

Teens will create two finished resin jewellery pieces including:
•  A bezel setting suitable for embedding images and objects (resin is poured over the objects to keep them in place).
•  A glass vial that can be filled with objects and resin, glow pigment in resin or coloured resin.

Participants are encouraged to bring along images or small objects that they would like to add to their jewellery.

Meet your tutor

Anita Baills is a self taught mixed media jewellery artisan specialising in real butterfly, insect and reptile jewellery. She started making jewellery in 2009 and has since won numerous national and international design challenges. Taking inspiration from the colours and patterns in nature, Anita continues to develop new ways to create unique items with an upcycled, whimsical or nature theme.
