Time: 9am - 12pm ir 1pm - 4pm (morning workshop must be filled before afternoon bookings taken) 
Cost: $85 (includes all materials and tuition)
Ages: 13-17
Requirements: Please wear closed in shoes, long trousers and long sleeves

On the day

Students will learn the basics of cutting, filing and punching holes in metal to create a bookmark. They will then press a design into their metal piece and use metal paints and distress techniques to bring out the design further. Students will also make a pair of pressed metal earrings or a pendant if time permits.

Meet your tutor

Anita Baills is a self taught mixed media jewellery artisan specialising in real butterfly, insect and reptile jewellery. She started making jewellery in 2009 and has since won numerous national and international design challenges. Taking inspiration from the colours and patterns in nature, Anita continues to develop new ways to create unique items with an upcycled, whimsical or nature theme.
