Wildlife Rangers: Animals on the Move

Live shows at 10.30am, 11.30am and 1pm 

Step into the shoes of a Wildlife Ranger and see mammals, marsupials, reptiles and more as they arrive at the Museum for the Easter school holiday program!  

Thanks to World Science Festival Queensland and the team at Geckoes Wildlife, Wildlife Rangers will let you get up close and personal to some of Australia's favourite animals as we learn all about their day to day lives and how they move about in the wild.

Learn about the animals below with a variety visiting the Museum each day of the program:

• Green Tree Frog or Magnificent Tree Frog
• Burtons Legless Lizard.
• Bearded Dragon, Frill Necked Dragon or Water Dragon, Shingle Back, Blue Tongue.
• Crocodile
• Freshwater Turtle
• Green Tree Snake or Python
• Tawny Frogmouth, Barn Owl or Barking Owl 
• Bettong or Wombat
• Ringtail Possum or Squirrel Glider
• And more.

Pre-book to avoid disappointment! 
Our Wildlife Ranger shows are very popular so we recommend pre-purchasing your ticket online or in the weeks prior at the Museum's front desk to avoid missing out. Please also arrive 15 minutes prior to the show beginning. 


Designed for children aged 3 to 12 years. 
Cost: $10 per child* includes photo opportunities.
Limited tickets may also be available to purchase at the door. Contact the Museum for group bookings. 
Children must be accompanied by an adult. General entry admission charges apply to adults from outside the Toowoomba Regional Council area.
